Accessories tab

In the Accessories tab, you can link suitable additional items to the main item. The settings determine whether the accessories are offered or inserted by the customer or supplier and how their quantity reacts.

Fields in the New/Edit dialog

• Component: Item that is an accessory to the main item.
• Quantity factor: Quantity of accessories per unit of the main item.
• Position type: Specifies which permissible document item type the accessory is inserted as. By default, the item category item is selected. However, it is also possible to have a position as Alternatively, Possibly or Optionally to mark. The prices of these items are not included in the total amount of the document as they are considered as suggestions. Note that items that have the item type Alternative, Possible, or Optional can only be inserted into documents of type Customer Field Service and Customer Quotation.
• Free: Sets the price of the accessory item to 0 when it is taken over.
• Customer page: Takes the accessories into account in sales or customer documents.
• Supplier side: Takes the accessories into account in purchasing or supplier documents.
• Insert: Controls whether the accessory item is actually created when the main item is inserted or whether this should be requested individually when the document is created.
• Sync quantity: Adjusts the quantity of the accessory position already inserted when the quantity of the main position in the document changes.
