In the Details tab you maintain technical, logistical and output-relevant properties. This information helps with identification, shipping, printing, shop connection and quantity-related evaluations.

In the Details tab you maintain technical, logistical and output-relevant properties. This information helps with identification, shipping, printing, shop connection and quantity-related evaluations.

Information marked “read-only” or “automatic” is for informational purposes. They are defined elsewhere or calculated from transaction data.

Identification and issuance

  • Manufacturer: Shows the partner who is listed as the manufacturer.
  • Manufacturer order number: item or order number under which the manufacturer lists the product.
  • GTIN: Global item number for unique identification, barcode processing and data exchange.
  • Shop: Indicates that the item is intended for connected shop processes.
  • Print: Controls whether the item should be included in designated printing and output processes.
  • Number of decimal places (read-only): Specifies how many decimal places quantities of this item are recorded and displayed. The value comes from the item template.

Dimensions and contents

  • Weight: Weight of a base unit of the item in the weight unit displayed next to the field.
  • Length: Length of a base unit in the displayed length unit.
  • Width: Width of a base unit in the displayed length unit.
  • Height: Height of a base unit in the displayed unit of length.
  • Volume: Volume of a base unit in the volume unit displayed.
  • Contents: Numerical content amount per base unit, for example 0.75 for a 0.75 liter bottle.
  • Content ME: Unit of measure for the content field, for example liters, kilograms or meters.
  • The base units are in the Program settings set. (see Administration > Master data initialization)
