Desktop configurator

The role-based desktop is the personal starting point for a task and brings important functions and information in one place.

This is how you use the role-based desktop as a direct introduction to common tasks, information and work areas.

This is how it works

Use the buttons and information provided on the role desktop to get started straight away.
After completing a task, return to the role-based desktop to choose the next step.

Individually can be used for each role (see Administration > Roles) it can be determined which desktop buttons are activated on the individual desktops.
On the home desktop, select the desktop button Rolling desktops

role-based desktop: Give it a generally understandable name.
Role: Select the role that should access it.
Desktop: Selection of desktop
Show symbols: By activating the checkbox, the standard desktop button icons are displayed.
Show text: If the checkbox is activated, the label of the desktop button is displayed
Font size (px):
Background color:
Button height (px):

Row index: The line index tells you in which line of the role menu the desktop button is located. There can be up to 7 lines.
Column index: The column index tells you in which column of the role menu the desktop button is located. There can be up to 16 columns.
Route: Navigation URL
Display text: Label of the button
SVG: The desktop button emblem.
Font color:
Background color:
Frame color:

The content that appears depends on the role, configuration and authorization.

Design the role desktop with appropriate entry points, information and actions.

What should I check with Desktop Configurator before finalizing?

Master data, status and responsibility are complete and plausible. The change is saved and can be found again via search or list.
