Projects register overview

The project overview combines the technical goal, customer reference, schedule and economic framework. This turns a project idea into a controllable data set that documents, positions and evaluations can use together.

Start, end, deadline and dependency must match each other. Implausible scheduling logic not only shifts the Gantt display, but can also falsify subsequent planning.

Identification and responsibility

• ID (read-only): Technical unique number of a project.
• Project name: Short, clear name and at the same time matchcode of the project.
• Customer: Customer for whom the project is being carried out; creates a connection to partners, evidence and communication.
• Project date: Technical reference or creation date of the project.
• Project status: Current processing status, such as planned, active or completed - depending on the stored status list.
• Clerk: Internally responsible employee for coordination and queries.
• Our symbol: Internal reference that can be reused in communications and documents.
• Remark: Short internal note about the project.
• Subject customer: Customer-related subject that describes the external perspective of the project.
• Creation date (read-only): Time at which the project was created.
• Created by (read-only): Employee or user who created the data record.

Schedule and dependencies

• Deadline: Binding or controlled target date of the project.
• Parents: Parent project under which this project is managed hierarchically.
• Dependency: Type of scheduling relationship to the higher-level or upstream project.
• Offset (days): Time distance from the selected dependency; is only displayed for a parent project.
• Start time: Planned start of the project.
• End time: Planned end of the project.
• Project Gantt: Opens the time bar display of the projects and dependencies.

Economic framework

• Budget: Planned financial framework of the project.
• Deposit: Agreed or already taken into account deposit amount.
• Remaining balance (read-only): Open amount derived from budget and down payment.

Work safely

Name the project clearly, assign the customer and those responsible, then check the scheduling logic and dependencies and conclude with the budget and references.
