06. Basic settings, test and handover

A company database is only ready when the first user does not have to improvise - and the administration still knows how to fall back safely.

1. Check company name, address, country, primary language, currency, time zone and fiscal year.
2. Control number ranges, document templates, email senders and relevant company parameters.
3. Run a typical process from creation to list with a test user.
4. Save the released status and note those responsible and open risks.
5. Hand over access separately, explain the support route and arrange a follow-up inspection.

• Date, currency and language appear as expected.
• A representative process can be carried out completely.
• Email and external connections are deliberately activated or deactivated.
• Security, support and escalation paths are known.
