Role menu

Each role menu can be specifically assigned the areas that a role should access particularly quickly.

Role menu

In the role menu, additional desktop buttons can be displayed in selected desktops for the different roles managed in X-ERP. This way you can switch to a task-related role menu and access the functions that are important for your job.

This is how the role menu setup works

  1. On the Home desktop, select the Desktop button Role menus.
  2. Open the role menu you want to work in.

Role menus bundle tasks - they do not automatically change the underlying data.

Fields

  • Role: Selection of role (see Administration > Roles)
  • Desktop: The desktop on which to display the role menu.
  • Number of grid lines and Number of grid columns determine the index.
  • Show symbols: By activating the checkbox, the standard desktop button icons are displayed.
  • Show text: If the checkbox is activated, the standard label of the desktop button is displayed.
  • Font size (px):

Configuration of the buttons

  • Row index: The line index tells you in which line of the role menu the desktop button is located. There can be up to 7 lines.
  • Column index: The column index tells you in which column of the role menu the desktop button is located. There can be up to 16 columns.
  • Route: Determines where the program navigates when the desktop button is pressed. This can be, for example, an edit view, a list view or a wizard.
  • Display text: Label of the button
  • SVG: The desktop button emblem.
  • Color of the button:

  • Frame color:
