AI translations

With AI translations, you determine which target languages are available to users for AI-powered translations. A deliberately limited selection keeps the interface clear and the quality controllable.

AI translations: many languages, deliberately selected

Administration > AI initialization > AI translations shows a list of supported languages with checkboxes. Any activated language can be offered as a target for an AI-assisted translation. In this way, you not only decide on the selection options, but also on which languages ​​your company would like to be responsible for quality.

Control explained

  • Checkboxes per language: activates or deactivates the relevant target language for AI translation functions. The languages ​​are divided into two columns for a better overview.

How to set up the selection

  1. Determine the languages actually needed in customer, supplier or internal processes.
  2. Only activate these languages.
  3. Save the setting.
  4. Open an AI translation function and see if the selection appears as expected.
  5. Test technical terms, product names, units of measurement, and legally sensitive language with a knowledgeable reviewer.

What this setting doesn't do

The selection does not replace the general language root or a terminology list. It determines which AI target languages ​​are offered; the quality of the content must continue to be checked.
