Categories tab

The Categories tab assigns the item to one or more freely maintained item categories. Categories support filters, evaluations and connected uses.

Information marked “read-only” or “automatic” is for informational purposes. They are defined elsewhere or calculated from transaction data.

Header fields on this register

• Item number: Unique key of the item. It can be recorded when a new system is created; for a saved item it is read-only.
• Match code: Short search term of the item. Outside the Overview tab, it is displayed read-only for orientation purposes only.
• Item type: Read-only basic classification from the item template. Among other things, it decides which registers and process functions are available for the item.

Fields

• Category: Category to which the current item is assigned.
• item (read-only in the dialog): The item opened in the register; it is already specified when an assignment is created.
