Warehouse register history

The history answers the crucial storage question: When did an inventory change - and through which document, which production, inventory or inventory transfer? It is the hindsight for causes, not the screen for corrections.

Never change inventory by manipulating historical values. Open the triggering process and correct it using the technically intended process.

Inventory status

• Warehouse name (read-only): Shows the warehouse whose history is open.
• Storage location: Storage location of the stored inventory level, if used.
• Item number: item to which the historical entry relates.
• Stock: Quantity posted at time of entry.
• Packed: Quantity packed at time of entry.
• Minimum stock: Lower target level valid at the time.
• Reporting threshold: Threshold for reporting needs that was valid at the time.
• Maximum stock: Upper target level valid at the time.

Cause and timing

• Inventory count: Link to the inventory if the inventory level was created through a count.
• Doc: Document number of the process that triggered the warehouse movement.
• Production: Production order number if the change comes from a production process.
• Bearing transfer: Number of the transfer between warehouses or storage bins.
• Date: Time at which this historical status was saved.

Work safely

Start with the date and item, then check the quantities and then open the assigned document, production, inventory or warehouse transfer.
