Item groups

The item group assigns the item to a technical group. Create item groups to structure your items sensibly and display them in an item tree.

The item group affects downstream rules. If you change and save them for an existing item, X-ERP deletes the previous item discounts and applies the discounts of the newly selected group.

Capture item groups

• Start capturing in Administration > Master data initialization > Item groups

Fields

• Name: Give it a meaningful name.
• Parents: To sort in the item group tree, assign a parent group.

Assignment

• Assign the individual items in the Overview of the item master data item groups too.
