That's what you use this page for
Always record accounting periods chronologically. First create the periods of the financial year in which you want to start working in X-ERP. Please note that after the first financial year has been created, retroactive accounting periods can no longer be created.
The accounting periods of different periods must never overlap, that is, if a period ends on December 31st. ends, then the new period begins by default on January 1st. of the following year.
- The period list shows the fiscal year, current period and time period.
Period name: The economic period is given a unique name. (e.g. 202401 January)
financial year: The prerequisite for creating the financial year is that the calendar year has been recorded in advance in the financial initialization. If the financial year is spread over 2 calendar years, the year of the first economic period is used.
The first economic period is always 01.
calendar year is the year in which the financial year begins.
The calendar month is the first month of the new financial year.
- The status controls whether new postings are accepted in the period.
open - postings can be carried out and documents can be created during this period. blocked - The period is blocked. No postings can be made. Documents cannot be created in this posting period.
closed - The period is permanently closed.
Safe process
- Specify the fiscal year and the period sequence.
- Check for gap-free periods and unique period names.
- Open or close periods according to the monthly or year-end closing.
- Test the current period with a scheduled posting transaction.

- The document period is seamless and exactly the period you want is open for postings.
