The depreciation assistant can be used to create automated suggestions for executing depreciation entries. Decide which postings should be made and create depreciation runs.

That's what you use this page for

• Select by system number and location.
• Select the accounting period up to which depreciation should be proposed.
• Create a depreciation proposal using the switch Suggest depreciation.
• Check the proposal for numbers, date, accounting period, depreciation account, investment account and amount.
• Create the proposed depreciation entries using the counter Create depreciation.

Safe process

1. Create the depreciation run.
2. Check dates, totals and accounts.
3. Create the depreciation run.

Then check

• postings and the register Posted sales in the asset.
