02. Create employees

Behind every user there is a person - and behind many processes there is a responsible employee.

Responsibility that carries with you in everyday life

The employee data record is used for technical purposes: for responsibilities, documents, projects, times or approvals. A user account alone does not replace this process identity.

This creates a clean working environment

1. First open on the desktop management the area Employees.
2. Select the button in the toolbar New to create a new data record.
3. Enter the employee's necessary master data, such as name, organizational assignment and the contact details necessary for the process.
4. Save the record and reopen it from the list.

Please note: An employee record is not automatically a user account. If the employee is to log in to X-ERP themselves, user access must also be set up and as connected user be assigned.

The short handover check

• The person exists exactly once.
• Name and email are spelled correctly.
• Status and organizational unit match the start date.
• The data record can be found in selection fields.

What good administrators immediately think about

• A duplicate leads to separate time, document or responsibility chains.
• Private contact details are only included if the purpose and authorization are clarified.
• An inactive employee may be missing from the user assignment.

This is what you take with you

The person is prepared as a clear professional anchor - even before rights and login come into play.
