Cost object overview

The cost object overview shows what costs were incurred - for example for a product, project or order - and supports the assessment of results.

That's what you use this page for

• From and to periods determine the scope of the report.
• Cost objects bundle postings according to the service object under consideration.
• Totals show the allocated costs.
• The preview allows for review and sharing.

Safe process

1. Select the period range.
2. Generate the report and compare relevant cost objects.
3. Open suspicious amounts up to the posting rate.
4. Correct incorrect account assignments in a comprehensible manner.

Then check

• The costs shown technically belong to the cost object and correspond to the underlying postings.
