Stock register

The Storage tab summarizes the current and future availability and shows the stocks per warehouse and storage location. It only appears with inventory data for items in stock.

Information marked “read-only” or “automatic” is for informational purposes. They are defined elsewhere or calculated from transaction data.

Calculated quantities

• Stock: Physically posted current total inventory of the item.
• Packed: Quantity already packed for outbound operations.
• Now available (automatic): Inventory minus packed quantity.
• Confirmed: Additional confirmed quantity still in stock that is reserved.
• Freely available (automatically): Inventory minus packed and confirmed quantity.
• Ordered: Quantity already ordered from suppliers that is not yet in stock.
• Announced: Further already announced future receipts, for example from production or supplier-side processes.
• Available later (automatically): Freely available quantity plus ordered and announced arrivals.

Item-wide storage specifications

• Minimum inventory (read-only): Sum of the minimum stocks of all warehouses.
• Reporting threshold (read-only): Sum of reporting thresholds for all camps. Shortfalls can be used to determine needs.
• Maximum inventory (read-only): Sum of the maximum stocks of all warehouses; The maximum stock per storage line must not be less than the minimum stock.
• Standard bearing: Warehouse that prefers to suggest X-ERP for new operations with this item.
• Customization type (read-only): Shows whether and how individual stocks are tracked via serial numbers, batches or other individualization.
• Storage info: “Small” storage space management. If all quantities of an item are stored in a single location, the storage location can be identified without the need to activate storage location management.

Warehouse lines provide information about which quantity of the item is in which warehouse.

This information is not editable. Just the columns Minimum stock, reporting threshold and maximum stock can be edited manually.

• Stock: Warehouse in which the inventory is kept.
• Storage location: Specific space within the warehouse. The field is available if the selected warehouse uses bins.
• Inventory (read-only): Physically posted current total inventory in this storage/bin row.
• Packed (read-only): Quantity already packed in this storage/bin row.
• Available now (read-only): Quantity now available for this line.
• Minimum stock: Lower target stock for this storage location.
• Reporting threshold: Inventory threshold, below which a procurement requirement can be considered.
• Maximum stock: Upper target stock for this storage location.
