03. Create users and link them to the employee data record

In this step, the prepared employee receives a digital identity. It is precisely this connection that turns “someone changed something” into a comprehensible “who, when and in what role”.

Responsibility that carries with you in everyday life

Users and employees perform different tasks. The user carries login, password, lock and roles; the employee link establishes the connection to the business processes.

This creates a clean working environment

1. Open on desktop Administration the area User and choose New.
2. Enter the business email address as a unique username.
3. Enter your first and last name and select the prepared one associated employees.
4. Assign a temporary password and activate Change password the next time you log in.
5. Save, then assign roles and test with the affected person.

The short handover check

• The username and recipient address are exactly the same.
• The user is active and linked to the correct employee.
• The startup password must be changed the first time you log in.
• There are no unnecessary roles assigned yet.

What good administrators immediately think about

• An incorrect email permanently binds the identity to the incorrect identifier.
• Users without employee links are missing professional selection or responsibility paths.
• A permanent startup password is an unnecessary security risk.
