Expand doc chain

Expand document chain adds additional document types or transitions without losing the traceability of the existing document chain.

Recommended process

1. Open the desktop button Doc chain on the desktop Administration in the area Master data initialization.
2. Start the creation of a new document type via the New button.
3. Check existing information and record the change completely and comprehensibly.
4. Save and check the result in the associated follow-up process with a test document chain.
5. Make sure that all processes still have to be traceable.

Then check

• The adjacent process accepts the data as expected.

Avoid typical mistakes

Leave Expand doc chain not immediately after an entry. Save consciously and then check whether the expected result is visible.
