07. X-ERP-Company-Creator (create a company database / tenant)

Create a new company database with X-ERP schema, procedures and views and only make it visible in the landscape after checking.

The Company Creator creates the professional world of a company: partners, items, receipts, warehouses, finances and processes get a common, isolated data room.

Why this station counts

The Creator not only creates an empty database, but also the structure expected by X-ERP. The company must then be correctly registered and activated in the landscape so that it appears in the login.

The resilient process

  1. Define company abbreviation, database name, country, language and responsible persons.
  2. Choose the correct SQL server, instance and XLD landscape.
  3. Create the database and keep the creator log.
  4. Check schema, permissions, storage paths and backup capture.
  5. Register or activate the company and test the selection in the login.

Functional test - only then continue

  • Database name is unique and consistent with convention.
  • Structure was completely created without errors.
  • Only designated accounts have access.
  • Company appears in the right landscape.
  • Initial backup is available.

If the result is not correct

  • A test company database accidentally becomes productive because labeling is missing.
  • Directly copying an empty database does not replace the Creator.
  • A company that has been created but not activated remains invisible in the login.

The client is technically complete, clearly named and incorporated into the landscape in a controlled manner.

**Why doesn't the new company appear when I log in?**

Check registration and active status in the correct XLD landscape as well as the application configuration.

**Can I simply copy a company database?**

For new clients, use the designated creator. Copies require a separate, controlled process.
