The Sales register controls whether and under what conditions an item is sold. In addition, it shows the two-stage sales price calculation and all sales prices valid over time.

Register Sales

The Sales register controls whether and under what conditions an item is sold. In addition, it shows the two-stage sales price calculation and all sales prices valid over time.

Information marked “read-only” or “automatic” is for informational purposes. They are defined elsewhere or calculated from transaction data.

Sales control

  • Sales items: Allows the selection of the item in sales processes and corresponding item searches.
  • Minimum quantity: Smallest intended sales quantity. It supports the plausibility check when recording the position.
  • Lot size: Quantity grid in whose steps the item is usually sold or provided.
  • Delivery days: Planned value for the delivery time of the item in days.
  • Sales finance group: Assigns the item to a sales-related financial group and thus forms a basis for automatic account determination. (see Administration > Financial Initialization > Financial Group Items)

Sales price calculation

  • Cost of goods sold (automatically): Calculated cost basis from the Procurement register.
  • Percentage markup 1: First percentage surcharge on the cost price.
  • Fixed serve 1: First absolute award.
  • Subtotal (automatic): Prime costs including the first percentage and fixed surcharge.
  • Percentage markup 2: Second percentage surcharge on the subtotal.
  • Fixed serve 2: Second absolute award.
  • Calculated sales price (automatic): Result of the complete two-stage calculation.
  • Price unit (read-only, only if not equal to 1): Shows how many units the price refers to, for example 100 pieces.

Sales price list

  • Price list: Denotes the sales price list (see Sales > Settings), for which the price applies. Each customer is assigned a sales price list.
  • Valid from: Price validity start date. If there are several entries, a price sequence is possible.
  • Selling price: Price of the item in the selected price list from the validity date.
  • Price unit (read-only in the dialog, conditional): Shows the price reference if the price unit of the item is not 1.
  • Foreign currency (conditional): Shows the currency if the selected price list is maintained in a foreign currency.
