Production tab

You maintain the components of a production structure in the Production tab. Each line describes which item, in what quantity and function, belongs to a unit of the parent production item.

Fields in the New/Edit dialog

• Component: Item that is required or arises in the production structure. For existing lines it is read-only, but can be opened directly for editing.
• Quantity factor: Quantity of the component per unit of the parent production item.
• Unit of measure (read-only): Base unit of the selected component.
• Alternative units of measure (conditional): For each maintained conversion, X-ERP shows a quantity field with a conversion factor. A change is calculated back to the quantity factor in the base unit.
• Dissolve: Controls whether a nested production structure of the component is further resolved.
• Previous production step (only for production step components): Selects the previous step on which this production step depends in time.
• Previous production step dependency (only for production step components): Specifies the start-start, start-end, end-start or end-end relationship to the previous step.
• Component type: Defines the technical role and thus the inventory or sales impact of the component in production.
• Position: Sequence of the component in the production structure.
• Info: Info text about the production component.

Columns and calculations in the list

• Position: Sequence in the production structure.
• Component: Matchcode of the production component.
• Quantity factor: Quantity per unit of the production item.
• ME: Unit of measure of the component.
• Price unit: Quantity to which the price values refer.
• Cost of goods sold: Cost price of a price unit of the component.
• Calculated selling price: Calculated sales price of a price unit of the component.
• Total cost price: Total costs of the line converted to the quantity factor.
• Calculated total sales price: Total sales price of the line converted to the quantity factor.
• Profit: Difference between calculated total sales price and total cost price.
• Total line: Adds the cost, sales and profit values of all production items.
