Assign initial business partner numbers

This function is used to determine the first partner numbers to be assigned. You determine which number the automatic number assignment for partners begins.

First partner number assigned

This function is used to determine the first partner numbers, customer numbers and supplier numbers to be assigned. You determine which number the automatic number assignment for partners begins.

Start in the desktop Administration > Master data initialization > Partner.

Fields

  • Consecutive number: The number currently stored for partner allocation.
  • First partner number / customer number / supplier number: The number with which the allocation should begin.
  • Set number: By pressing the button the number is adopted.

When new partners, customers and suppliers are created, the next available partner number is automatically assigned.
