Employee register extra fields

The Extra Fields tab shows exactly the information that your company database additionally requires for employees. Names, order, mandatory logic and write protection come from the individual configuration.

Specific extra fields differ depending on the company database. If the meaning or maintenance responsibility is not clear, ask the responsible customizer before changing a value.

Possible field types

• Yes/No: Checkbox for a binary property.
• Short text: Single-line field for freely defined information.
• Long text / XML: Multi-line field for detailed or structured content.
• Decimal number: Numerical value with decimal places.
• Integer: Numerical value without decimal places; automatically generated identifiers can be read-only.
• Date: Calendar date without time.
• Date/Time: Point in time with time and, depending on the data type, time zone reference.
• GUID (read-only): Technical unique identifier.
• Image/File: Binary content maintained via the configured image or file component.
• Selection from linked table: Links a record from a configured table.
• Read-only field: Only displayed and populated by another process or rule.

Work safely

Read the field name and internal work instructions together, only record reliable values and check the effect in the company-specific follow-up processes.
